Unroth acts as In-House Legal Counsel for Cydcor and has
held the position since 2003. Prior to his involvement with
Cydcor, Mr. Unroth has had extensive experience in the direct
marketing industry previous to his joining Cydcor.
Mr. Unroth received his Bachelor of Arts at York University
in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1969. He received his Bachelor
of Law Degree from the University of Windsor Law School in
Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1972. While studying there, Mr.
Unroth won the Thomson Rogers prize for Corporate Finance.
He has articled for the Law Firm of Shuber-Gluckstein in Toronto,
Ontario,
Canada in 1973 and commenced practicing with them as an associate
following his call to the Bar in Ontario, Canada in 1974.
In 1975, Mr. Unroth joined the Law Firm of Salter, Apple,
Cousland & Kerbel, as an associate, later becoming a partner
in 1976. Then, in 1984, Davidson Partners Limited, a boutique
brokerage firm across Canada hired Mr. Unroth out of private
practice to become its Director, Executive Vice-President
and General Counsel.
Currently, as In-house counsel for Cydcor, Mr. Unroth is responsible
for all legal issues and relationships with clients and Independent
Corporate Licensees. He deals with the negotiation of all
contracts and resolving all issues, of a legal nature as they
arise from time to time.
